Wax Museum

Over the past two months, fifth-graders at Saint Mary have been working on their historical Wax Museum project. Students were assigned a historical figure from the American Revolution to research. Once students finished researching, they wrote a multiple-page biography about their historical figure with Mrs. Seymour and Ms. Conboy in writing class. Students have also been assembling a costume and speech for their social studies presentation. For the speech, students are giving a one or two-minute presentation that highlights the key information from their research, from the point of view of their historical figure.

In years past parents and family have had the opportunity to come in and see students’ presentations; and this year students are excited to continue to present to the Saint Mary community, albeit in a socially distanced manner. Below are student’s assignments for the Wax Museum:
