Uniform Policy
Saint Mary students are expected to wear the designated uniform on all days. They are expected to dress neatly and be clean in appearance at all times. This includes having uniform shirts tucked in at all times.
It is the responsibility of the parent that the child is dressed according to the uniform code. The judgment of the principal is final in all questions regarding the school dress code.
School uniforms can be purchased from Dennis Uniform. Please click the link for Dennis Uniform: The Nation's Leading School Uniform Provider | DENNIS Uniform
Preschoolers wear a red uniform polo shirt which can be purchased through Dennis Uniform. They can wear navy blue shorts or pants. Socks and gym shoes should be worn.
All clothing must be labeled with the child’s last name. The following are the Saint Mary uniform requirements:
Non-uniform Day Dress Code
If the school is having a special dress-up day or if the students may dress out of uniform to go on a field trip, the attire worn to school should be proper and appropriate. Torn jeans or clothes that have inappropriate messages, which the school philosophy would not endorse, are not to be worn. If a student does wear such inappropriate clothing, (“inappropriate” as decided upon by the administration) he/she will be required to call home for a change of clothes or he/she will not be allowed to participate in any of the activities of that special day. Tank tops, spaghetti straps, low-cut tops, short shorts, or shirts which expose the midriff are never allowed.
Dress-up Day
Boys wear collared shirts. No shorts and no denim.
Girls wear “appropriate” dress up clothing.
